Ajmichalka

AJ Michalka is an American performer, singer, songwriter, musician and model who was famous as one half of the group Aly and AJ. They perform in the duo with her sister Aly Michalka. AJ was was born in Torrance California she was inspired to be a performer from her maternal grandmother Carrie. AJ was a child of the sea, spending her childhood predominantly in Torrance and Seattle. The siblings were taught the guitar and the piano in the early years. As they moved into their teens, they were skilled in their fields. AJ started performing at the age of 5 old and played roles in the church's productions of plays. AJ took part in musicals at her school. AJ first made an acting appearance in 2002, when she was an 11 year old girl with an unimportant role in the'Passions' series.'
